Maureen McBride was born and raised on the outskirts of Toronto and is trained in Theatre, Radio and Television Broadcasting. She has been involved and has worked in the Media and Entertainment industry since she was 10 years old.Maureen had been in several car accidents before the age of 25, and came to the conclusion that doctor prescribed medication only treated the short-term relief of pain. She then searched for alternative methods. Maureen had always been interested in the paranormal and had been very intuitive from an early age. She was intrigued when she was given a gift-certificate for the choice of a Reiki Treatment or an Aromatherapy session. She did not know what Reiki was or even how to pronounce it, but decided to opt for the Reiki treatment. She was opened up to the Universe in an emotional, mental, physical and spiritually aware way. Eventually that path took her off traditional pain medication and guided her on a journey of self-healing, the teaching of others and energy work that has been documented by many respected journalists. Since 1998, Maureen has enjoyed a private practice, practicing and teaching Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Ear Coning/Candling. She also worked with hospitals in assisting in the treatment of cancer and leukemia patients with astonishing results. Maureen believes that all her students are with her for life and is always readily available for any questions or concerns that may come up in their own personal journeys of practicing and teaching. She specializes in Reiki and Crystal Healing courses that cater to the student wishing to open up their own practices. |
